Revisiting the Images

I was fairly unhappy with most of the images from a recent trip to Italy. But I started looking through them a year later, and now with cropping and interpreting the images (in Adobe Lightroom) I am redisovering some of the enthusiasm I had when I first took them.

Compare the cropped and adjusted image below with the camera original below it. When you are shooting (particularly aerial) you aren't as perfect as you might like in composition and exposure. Later on you can might be able to bring back the essence of what got you to take the photo.

This is one reason I don't trash too many images. Keeping them costs little.
